Peach Blossom Island :
The beautiful Taohua (Peach Blossom) Island lies to the east of Ningbo and is about 16 kilometers south of Zhoushan Island. With an area of 74 sq. km. it is the seventh largest island of the Zhoushan archipelago. Taohua has a maritime, subtropical, monsoon type of climate. The climate is temperate with a clear distinction between the four seasons. During much of the year there is abundant sunshine, while some times nature will provide frequent rainfall.Our island has an abundance of beautiful features: the gentle surf of sheltered Golden Beach; the shady forest trails of Buddha Rock Scenic spot; Anqi Peak Scenic area, with its wonderful vista of all the surrounding islands; and Peach Blossom Valley, where there are quiet and peaceful walks in a beautiful, natural setting.The natural scenery of Taohua includes many botanical wonders - rare flowers and abundant trees - all combine to create a wonderful natural scenery and organic atmosphere. The air is always clean and fresh, while the streams from the mountain provide sparkling waters. Our environment is pure and wholesome to support the production of our organic teas.

Our company has complied with the international trend of organic production. Since 1999 we have succeeded in developing and transforming 52 hectares of ground on the Peach Blossom Island for our organic tea plantation. The result has been to obtain certification from BCS, the world-famous authentication organization in Germany - a guarantee for our company's organic methods.There continues to be a growing popularity in Europe for the varieties of organic teas of Peach Blossom Island: Longjing tea, Buddhism tea, Gunpowder tea, Yunwu tea, Tianmu tea, Biluochun tea and Steamed tea - these are all favorably received and much enjoyed by our customers. |
